Quality Inspector / CMM Operator

Company Background
Allied Mechanical Wisconsin (AMW), a division of Tower Industries, Inc., has opened a highly specialized state-of-the-art robotic manufacturing facility near Appleton, Wisconsin.

Position Description
We are now seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Inspector / CMM Operator to join our team. This position will be primarily responsible for monitoring the manufacturing processes through the use of automated in-process CMMs and other inspection/test equipment.

Requirements
• At least five (5) years experience as an inspector, machinist, and/or assembler
• At least two (2) years as a CMM operator, preferably using PC-DMIS software
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment (such as calipers, scales, etc.)
• Nondestructive test experience optional but desired
• Ability to use advanced measuring equipment (such as coordinate measuring machine, optical comparator, magnetic particle inspection, and custom-design test equipment)
• Fluent in GD&T
• Attention to detail
• Fluent English (reading and writing)
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to routinely lift 55 lbs
• Ability to perform other essential functions of the job

Compensation
In addition desirable work hours and competitive benefits, including 401k contributions, these hourly positions pay between $15 and $20 per hour, depending on individual qualifications. Training is available, and will be provided as required.
